How to set up a monitoring point in Business NXT

This article shows you how to set up a monitoring point in Business NXT.

What a monitoring point is, and how you can use it with AutoCollect

A monitoring point in Business NXT gives you a quick, customised overview of the most important tasks and deviations from your work windows — right on the homepage when you enter NXT.

By saving a window layout in AutoCollect as a monitoring point, you can easily follow up on overdue invoices and ensure that you make use of AutoCollect in a busy everyday life.
 

We especially recommend setting up a monitoring point if:

• You manually send overdue invoices to AutoCollect.
• You have a debt collection list without automation and need to approve overdue debt collection notices for debt collection.
   

How to set up a monitoring point for invoices ready for reminder

1. Go to AutoCollect (reminders and debt collection) in NXT
2. Click on the tab Reminder or debt collection proposals
3. Click the three dots to the right of Processing
4. Click Add as Monitoring Point
5. Enter a description of what the monitoring point shows, for example “Invoices ready for reminder”
6. Select the company from the dropdown menu for Company
7. Check High priority
8. Click Save
    

When overdue invoices appear in the reminder proposal, the task will appear on your homepage in NXT.

How to set up a monitoring point for the debt collection list

1. Go to AutoCollect (reminders and debt collection) in NXT
2. Click on the tab From reminder to debt collection
3. Click on the tab Manual transfer to debt collection (note: only relevant if you have a debt collection list without automation in the AutoCollect settings). 
4. Click the three dots to the right of Processing
5. Click Add as Monitoring Point
6. Enter a description of what the monitoring point shows, for example “Invoice on debt collection list”
7. Select the company from the dropdown menu for Company
8. Check High priority
9. Click Save

If there are overdue debt collection notices ready for the next step at Amili (debt collection), the task will appear on your homepage in NXT.
