This article explains how to send an invoice to AutoCollect from your Visma Business accounting system.
Prerequisites
- You must have activated AutoCollect in Visma Business.
Before you send an invoice to AutoCollect for the first time
Make sure you have received an email from Amili, and that the checkbox for Activated is checked in the AutoCollect processing field in the Collection Agreement in Visma Business.
If this is the first time you are sending an invoice for follow-up after activating AutoCollect, we recommend recalculating the value in the Due including Running Days column in All Open Items.
- Go to All Open Items
- Display the Due including Running Days column
- Select all items
- Right-click and select Recalculate due including Running Days
How to send an invoice to AutoCollect for collection
Before sending an invoice for collection, we recommend updating any payment batches in voucher registration to ensure updated balances on invoices and customers.
- Go to AutoCollect in Visma Business and select the Reminder or collection proposals tab
- Select the invoice or invoices you wish to send to AutoCollect
- Right-click and select Processing → Send to AutoCollect. You can also perform this action via the green button Send invoice to AutoCollect if you have this in your view.
The invoice is now sent for follow-up via AutoCollect. You can find sent invoices in the Invoice under processing in AutoCollect tab. Once the invoice has received a case number and status, the case is successfully registered with us.
💡 Tip: If you want automatic transfer of overdue invoices to AutoCollect, contact your Visma partner for assistance in setting up a scheduled process for this.
