This article shows you how to change the status, register payment, and credit cases in the Amili portal.
Where to find cases in the Amili portal
- Via the Cases tab
- Via the Customers tab
- Via a Task
- Via the tiles in the Insights tab
When you want to find a case via the Customers or Cases tab, it is advisable to check that you have selected the correct company, and that you have removed any filters that may have hidden the case you want to see.
How to change the status of a case
- Go into the relevant case
- Click the Change case button
- Here you can choose Pause case, Resume case, or Withdraw case
💡 Note: Only users with Administrator or Write access can change the status.
How to register payment or credit on a case
If you have received payment from the end customer, or have credited the original invoice, you can easily register this on the case in the Amili portal.
Please note that you should only manually register payment and credit in the Amili portal if you upload invoices manually for collection. If you use AutoCollect in your accounting system, AutoCollect ensures that entries are synchronised via the integration.
- Go into the relevant case where you want to record payment or credit.
- Click the Change case button
- Select Register payment
- Choose the type of entry you want to make – payment or credit.
- Check that the correct invoice is selected, or choose another from the dropdown menu if there are multiple invoices in the same case
- Enter the payment date, currency, and amount.
- Click Register payment or Register credit
