What is a remittance slip?
A remittance slip is documentation for a payment you have received. When Amili pays out a settlement on a case we have collected for your company, the documentation will be produced and sent to you. The remittance slip is produced in PDF format.
What does the remittance slip from Amili show?
The remittance slip shows how the payment from your customer has been distributed across the various costs in the case. It also shows how much is paid out to you as the creditor, and how much has gone to Amili as the debt collection agency.
- Principal amount
- Interest
- Fees and charges
- Value added tax
The remittance slip also serves as documentation for value added tax, as it shows the calculation for VAT.
💡 Tip: The remittance slip is sent from no-reply@amili.no. Check your spam folder if you don’t find it in your inbox.
